puto maya is my favorite delights, steam sticky rice, every one has made this puto maya , for any celebrations party, especially in my province of bohol, people love to serve in the family and for all special guest, never forget the puto maya to bring back home. puto maya with a cup (sekwate) of chocolate with mango on top aroma tasty rice, chocolate in the province of bohol is home (sekwate) made product, love it chocolate is it pure dried cacao boholano's and boholana's love very much to have this puto maya with (sekwate) chocolate.

1.2 cups of sticky rice
2. 4 cups of thick coconut milk
3.3 1/2 tsps salt
4.1 cups of sugar
5. 2 pcs of root ginger cut into affrox 1',washed and smahed
Preparetion:
1.wash the rice, remove all water, mix salt,sugar,coconut milk, and soak for about 1 hour,
2. remove rice and set aside the coconut milk
3.prepare the steamer add water when the water is boiled place the rice and steam for about 20 minutes
spring little by little the coconut milk on top of rice and cover again for about another 10 minutes or until it done (check and taste now and then )when it is done scope the rice discarding the ginger.and
serve with ripe mango on top with hot (sekwate) choclate.
Sekwate ( hot chocolate/cacoa drinks)
1.2 cups of water
2. 2 or more pcs of tablea (pure dried cacao)
3. 1/2 cups of brown sugar (or depends on your taste)
Place water in a pot. Let it come to boil
Add the tablea's and whisk it vigorously by hand until tablea is milted
Add sugar. Adjust your sweetness to taste
Serve with puto maya, while it hot.
