LEONIDA'S Hong Kong Style Stuffed Peppers

LEONIDA'S Hong Kong Style Stuffed Peppers
So one day, I told my mom that I really miss the street foods in Hong Kong. Then she taught me how to make these at home! These are the best snack food and it goes just too well with rice!

INGREDIENTS
1 red bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 lb. fish paste
green onions
1 pinch of salt
1 tbsp corn starh
1 tsp white pepper powder
2 cups oil
DIRECTIONS
1. Wash the bell peppers throughly
2. Dice the green onions
3. Mix the fish paste with green onions, corn starch and white pepper powder
4. Cut the peppers into fourths or sixth (depending on how big you want them to be)
5. Heat up a pan, pour the oil in
6. Stuff the mixed paste into the peppers
7. When the oil is hot enough, put the stuffed peppers in and deep fry
I almost forgot how tasty this is! As for the fish paste, you can easily get it in Chinese supermarkets. Or you can make your own fish paste with white fish, soy sauce, salt and pepper, ginger and 1 egg. You mix everything in, until it becomes a very tough, fiberous like mixture. Then you’re all set to go!
